Senior Associate and Partner
Omran Zbeida is co-founder and Chairman of Balanced Scorecard North Africa, based in Tunisia North Africa and a Balanced Scorecard Institute Senior Associate and Partner. Omran professional contribution included assisting organization with implementing sound program and project management methodologies to successfully implement corporate strategies, enhance performance, and effectively manage change and enterprise level Risk Management.
Omran is active in many of PMI (Project Management Institute) North America activities including improvement of the Global Project Management Standard (PMBOK), have contributed to both 4th and 5th editions.
Omran attended University of Texas, Austin and is an Honors graduate from DeVry University in Dallas, Texas, USA. He is a member of the American National Honor Society "Tau Alpha Pi". He brings a wealth of knowledge ranging from research and development, electronics manufacturing and telecommunication software and hardware project management.
Omran has managed diverse groups of engineers and technical support teams. He has provided project management and technical training seminars; he also conducted career assessments and performance evaluations for his staff. He has an impeccable reputation and skills to develop customized training programs, according to clients' requirements and after conducting comprehensive assessments.
While working in USA for over 27 years, including 10 years as Project Engineer at Nortel Networks, Omran developed a reputation of being a great motivator, team developer and trainer. He introduced many processes and procedures to enhance staff competency, including Statistical Process Control "SPC". He also trained countless trainers to lead training programs. He managed third party vendor contracts while working for Seismic Engineering USA and for the US Navy and their sub-contractors.
Omran has extensive regional experience, both in the GCC and North Africa, over the past 10 years; he served clients in both governmental and private organizations. He provided project management consultations to his clients; he also conducted PMP, RMP exam preparation workshops, which met PMI certification requirements, to hundreds of professionals in Middle East and North Africa.
