One of the keys to strategy execution is the ability to change the organization through action.  Rolling out projects in an expected way providesthe opportunity to demonstrate that change.  Many organizations have limited project management capability outside of the IT, engineering, R&D, or similar project driven departments.   Many more are coming to the realization that tremendous benefits can be achieved with a standard approach to planning, executing, controlling and closing projects.
