On the Overview screen you can see detailed information about a particular metric or objective. The speedometer and trend graph help visualize performance, and related items link to relevant documents and initiatives.
Bookmark all of your favorite QuickScore screens and reports to your home page so that the information you need is always just one click away.
Create attractive metric dashboards to display the low-level information you need at a glance. Trend arrows show how each of this manufacturing company's key metrics has changed over time.
The best part is that everything you see here is just a website. There's no software to install or browser plugins required. You wouldn't know that from the way QuickScore feels, though, because drag and drop, right clicking, and innovative navigation are just the beginning.
At its heart, QuickScore is all about strategic performance metrics. With the metrics report you can quickly see how your metrics are performing as well as other important information like owners, objectives, and metric frequency. Clicking on the metric name drills you down to the Overview screen for more detail.
The initiatives module helps you get things done. You can use it for anything from simple to-do lists to full blown project management. This example shows tasks that are being tracked to improve red metrics.
Regardless of what you're measuring, QuickScore has the right metric type for the job.
The powerful reporting engine in QuickScore makes it easy to create ad hoc reports, and built-in canned reports offer a great starting point. Adding attractive charts is as easy as choosing from a drop-down list.
QuickScore® was designed to automate the Balanced Scorecard Institute's Nine Steps® to Success methodology.
QuickScore Technology
QuickScore was built for turbo-charged performance using the latest Ajax and J2EE web technologies. It excels with complex data calculations and linkages, and is currently being used in production environments with tens of thousands of metrics. You can set up automated data linkages with existing systems, or import data via CSV files or web forms. QuickScore is also incredibly configurable. Its advanced calendaring system allows you to create custom measurement periods so that you're not limited to just monthly or weekly metrics. It supports almost any kind of structure of any depth, making it a natural choice for any performance management methodology. Even its language and vocabulary can be easily changed. Our IT footprint is very small. Because QuickScore is a 100% web-based application, there's nothing to install on individual client machines. All users need is a modern web browser (Internet Explorer™, Firefox™, or Safari™) and they can connect from anywhere.

Scorecards
The proven power of scorecards combines with where-are-we-now dashboards. Scorecards also includes a powerful scorecard "alignment" function. With QuickScore, real Balanced Scorecard "Aligned Objectives" can be easily created to allow scorecards to show the performance of their own objectives and measures, or of supporting objectives across various scorecards. "Rack-and-Stack" navigation automates the creation of Strategy Maps and Organization Performance Charts, eliminating the need for laborious drag-and-drop manual creation.
Report Writer
Slice and dice the performance data in your QuickScore database and then create exciting Flash presentation graphs. Compare metrics within scorecards or across scorecards. Look for positive and negative trends. Then bookmark your customized report so it is available every time you login. Export with a single mouse click to Microsoft PowerPoint™, Excel™, or Word™.
Strategy Maps
A Strategy Map looks a lot like a Microsoft PowerPoint slide at first glance. It starts out as a blank canvas and you add images, shapes, text, and numbers to create a visual representation of your data. The big difference, however, is that once you make a Strategy Map, the colors and numbers automatically update based on the real data in your system. The QuickScore Strategy Map module is a perfect fit for Balanced Scorecard Strategy Maps, but they can do so much more. Use them to track key metrics, visualize geographic data, or monitor trends — no more surprises.
Strategic Initiative Action Planner
The QuickScore Strategic Initiative Action Planner manages everything in your organization that needs to get done. Auto-generated to-do lists make delegating tasks a snap and allow you to see your action items at a glance. Sophisticated Gantt charts give a bird's eye view of what is going on in your organization today, as well as what you have planned for next month or next year. Tasks and actions can track budget information and burn rates, and can be assigned to one or more individuals or groups.
Document Manager
Share files securely within your organization with Document Manager. In addition to supporting regular uploads and downloads, it also keeps track of different versions of a file, enabling users to track changes over time, or revert to a previous version. When paired with other modules, Document Manager becomes even more powerful, allowing you to associate files with metrics, tasks, and meetings.
On-Site Installation
On-site is the way QuickScoreTM has been traditionally sold and installed. It requires you to have your own server and IT staff to manage it, but allows you to keep all of the information on your corporate intranet. It is priced like most performance management software: a onetime license fee up front and then a 20% yearly maintenance fee for upgrades.
Software as a Service
With the Institute's Scorecard as a Service offering, the software is hosted by Institute partner Spider Strategies and is accessible from the web. Execute strategy with on-demand Balanced Scorecards, Strategy Maps, and Initiative Management. The hosted Scorecard solution requires no IT involvement, allows for rapid scorecard, initiative, metric, and strategy map development, and provides an immediate solution for automating, displaying, and executing strategy.
