Dr. Steven Bleistein Senior Associate  Steven is a Balanced Scorecard Institute Senior Associate and founder and CEO of Promise Point Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based consulting company and Balanced Scorecard Institute Japan affiliate. Promise Point provides services in strategy, performance management, and Balanced Scorecard training and certification. Steven has a broad range of international executive and entrepreneurial experience, having run his own businesses in Australia, France and Japan, and having worked in strategy and business development roles for European and United States multinational companies in Tokyo. Prior to founding Promise Point, Steven had consulted to and advised some of Japan’s top companies on strategy modeling and business improvement. Steven has also worked with Japan’s Cabinet Office on issues related to e-government strategy, and organized joint meetings between Japanese and Australian Commonwealth Government agency officials for exchanges of information and experiences. Steven speaks both Japanese and French fluently. Steven holds a PhD and an International MBA. Steven has developed a number of innovative goal-oriented methods for strategy modeling, which he has published in numerous scientific articles, and is a recognized expert in business-IT strategic alignment. In 2005, the Australian Computer Society awarded Steven with the prestigious ANCCAC medal in recognition of his work.
