Timothy (Tim) Johnson

Tim Johnson is a Balanced Scorecard Institute Senior Director of Consulting with over 32 years of experience in management and professional services management consulting. Specific areas of expertise include strategic planning, portfolio management, performance measurement/management, project management and business process improvement.
His experience includes facilitating over 70 organizations through strategic planning using the balanced Scorecard framework. His consulting experience includes supporting companies and organizations from across numerous industries to include agriculture, energy, manufacturing, financial services, hospitality, healthcare, Federal and State government and numerous nonprofits.
Tim is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force serving 22 years between both active duty and reserve components, and worked as a consultant at KPMG, Booz Allen and the North Highland Company. Prior to coming to the Balanced Scorecard Institute, Tim was the Vice President for Consulting and Professional Services at the Georgia Center for Nonprofits.
Tim holds a BS in Secondary Education and a MS in Organizational Management and is a certified Strategic Planner from the American Management Association and a Balanced Scorecard Professional (BSP) from the Balanced Scorecard Institute.
