Louise Watson is a Balanced Scorecard Institute Senior Associate. She is a Canada-based consultant and facilitator who brings more than 20 years of business and marketing expertise to her balanced scorecard performance management consulting and training. Her adept facilitation and process skills combined with her business savvy creates highly productive environments for executive teams to co-create their balanced scorecard strategy maps, initiatives and measures. She excels at working with teams to cascade their organization’s balanced scorecard and translate the strategy into action.
She started consulting in 2007 to work with major clients in the lead up to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and then accepted a games-time role with Vancouver’s Olympic organizing committee (VANOC). Since the 2010 Winter Games, she continues to provide strategy-driven and solution-oriented services to for-profit and not-for-profit organizations in three key areas: strategic planning, marketing communications, and group facilitation.
Prior to starting her own business, Adura Strategy, Louise was on the executive leadership team of Western Canada’s two largest daily newspapers. She led the newspapers’ Consumer Sales and Marketing departments as well as the organization’s corporate social responsibility initiative Raise-a-Reader.
Louise graduated from the University of British Columbia, has studied abroad at the University of Oslo and has done postgraduate work at UBC’s Sauder School of Business and George Washington University in DC.
